David A. Celko, M.D.
Dr. Celko is the Medical Director at Lungs at Work. Dr. Celko has been treating the miners at Lung at Work since the clinic was founded in 2002. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and has been a practicing pulmonologist for many years.
Deanna Lyn Istik, Esquire
Attorney Deanna Lyn Istik, of Sinatra & Istik Law Office, PLLC, began a relationship with Lungs at Work in 2022 to represent coal miners in their black lung claims. Deanna, a native of Grindstone, PA, earned her law degree at Western Michigan University School of Law. Her family has a history of coal mining and she is excited to work on behalf of coal miners. Stuart Karow, M.S.W.
Stuart became the Benefits Counselor at Lungs at Work in 2020. He works closely with Lynda to aid miners and their families with the federal black lung disability claims process. He assists claimants with filing applications, completing detailed work histories, interrogatories, and a myriad of other forms and filings associated with the claims process. Monica Gross, RRT
Monica, a Registered Respiratory Therapist., joined the Lungs at Work team in 2023. Monica performs all Pulmonary Testing, oxygen screenings, and education for the miners at our clinic. Diana Wilhelm, RRT
Diana is one of our Respiratory Therapists and has been with Lungs at Work since 2018. She is a Registered Respiratory Therapist.. She is knowledgeable about about the the federal black lung benefits process and ensures that miners receive quality testing to aid in determining disability. Margie O’Neal
Margie has been the Front Office Administrator at Lungs at Work since 2021. Her responsibilities include scheduling appointments, completing patient registrations, and answering the phones. Melanie Glagola, B.S.B.A.
